An Unforgettable Gathering of Community, Culture, and Soccer
More than two hundred members of the 1841 Founders Club came together at Peticolas Brewing for a night that felt like a true preview of what Atlético Dallas will become: energetic, community-driven, and proudly North Texas. With the U.S. Men’s National Team taking on Paraguay, the room buzzed with excitement as fans enjoyed free Peticolas beer, a full spread of fajitas and nachos, and good company all around.
Members were also treated to exclusive perks, including a complimentary 1841 Club flag at check-in and first access to purchase the brand-new Silver Ore kit before it became available to the general public. The fall merchandise collection made its in-person debut as well, and fans loved getting the first look at the new lineup.
Hosting this event at Peticolas Brewing felt like a perfect match. The brewery’s deep love for soccer, paired with its reputation for creating award-winning beer, made it an ideal setting for our first Founders Club celebration.
A Celebration of the Fans Who Started It All
Throughout the night, the theme was clear: our supporters are the heartbeat of this club. As Chief Marketing Officer Andy Bromberg shared, “The 1841 Founders Club is our first core group of fans who came together, bought season tickets, and are going to join us on this ride. Tonight, we wanted to celebrate that.”
Founder and Chairman Matt Valentine echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the supporters’ role in shaping the club’s identity. “This is the lifeblood of our club. This is who we are. I view us as supporters. I’m going to sit in the supporter section.”
“Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbors, tell anyone in your street or your kids’ clubs about Atlético Dallas,” said Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Sam Morton as he rallied the room with a call to build the community even further. “The environment we want to build starts with you. We can’t do anything without you.”
The Spirit of Supporters on Full Display
The pride and passion among our fans was impossible to miss. “We’ve already created a tight-knit community, a family, and that’s only going to grow,” said Drew Gehrts, founder of the Lunáticos Azules Supporters Group as he shared how quickly this group has become something special. “It’s really cool to see everyone gathered tonight as founders.”
Latinx culture influencer and creative director Paloma Dias Rivas summed up the energy of the evening with gratitude and anticipation. “This is my way of giving back to Atlético for everything they’ve done so far. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
With heartfelt remarks, an incredible turnout, and a shared commitment to building something meaningful, the night at Peticolas Brewing set the tone for everything we hope Atlético Dallas becomes.
