In celebration of Earth Day, Atlético Dallas partnered with Keep Richardson Beautiful for the city’s annual Trash Bash initiative, supporting cleanup and beautification efforts at local parks.
On April 10, Atlético Dallas staff joined forces with the City of Richardson to volunteer at Mimosa Park, working together to remove litter and care for the park’s green spaces. All materials for the effort were provided by the city, making it easy for volunteers to focus on what mattered most: giving back to the community.
Mimosa Park serves as a central gathering place for Richardson residents. Families come together there, young athletes train and compete, and neighbors connect through outdoor activities. By investing time and energy into maintaining this shared space, volunteers helped preserve the everyday experiences that make the park an important part of the community.
The cleanup effort reflects Atlético Dallas’ ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility. While the immediate impact was visible in cleaner, more welcoming spaces, the broader value came from strengthening relationships between the club, local partners, and the people they serve.
