Atlético Dallas Builds Momentum Through Community Impact Across North Texas
Long before the first whistle blows in 2027, Atlético Dallas is already building something meaningful across North Texas.
Over the past month, the club has continued to show up in neighborhoods, schools, and citywide events, connecting with supporters, investing in youth, and reinforcing its commitment to being a true community-first organization.
From a powerful moment inside a local high school to youth programming at the Cotton Bowl and one of Dallas’ largest annual celebrations, March reflected what Atlético Dallas stands for: access, opportunity, and connection through the game.
Inspiring the Next Generation: Seagoville High School Visit
At the heart of Atlético Dallas’ community efforts this month was a visit to Seagoville High School, where the club connected directly with students in a way that left a lasting impact.
In a community where access to opportunities like this can make a meaningful difference, the moment carried even greater weight.
Nearly 500 students, teachers, and family members gathered for a spirited student versus teacher soccer match that quickly became something more than just a game.
In an unplanned but unforgettable moment, First Team Manager Peter Luccin stepped in to coach the student team, bringing energy, encouragement, and a professional presence that elevated the experience for everyone involved.
“Moments like this stay with you,” said Luccin. “When young players see someone who has lived the game at the highest level show up for them, it reminds them that their dreams are real and that this sport can take them further than they imagine.”
Teachers and staff echoed that impact, sharing how meaningful the experience was for their students:
“We cannot thank you enough! It was a wonderful time and everyone is already asking when we will do the next one!”
— Yenni Reyes, Teacher and Event Organizer“Thank you guys so much for such an amazing event! The kids had an amazing time and feel so seen and cared for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts here at Seagoville.”
— Brittani Wallen, Teacher and Event Staff“Y’all were such an inspiration for the boys and girls on the soccer team. Thanks for coming out and supporting the community.”
— Daniel Seelig, Teacher, Tennis Coach, and Staff Team Player

A Club in the Community: St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
Atlético Dallas also joined more than 100,000 attendees at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival along Greenville Avenue, bringing the club’s energy into one of Dallas’ most iconic celebrations.
Supporters gathered at the club’s tailgate along the parade route and enjoyed a lively experience with refreshments from Peticolas Brewing Company. The club’s presence extended throughout the day with a float in the parade and a second activation at the post-parade concert at Energy Square.
“This is exactly what we mean when we talk about building a club with the community, not just for it,” said Sam Morton, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Atlético Dallas. “We want to be present in the moments that matter to people across North Texas, and this was one of those moments.”

Growing the Game: Supporting Dallas Unidos at the Cotton Bowl
Earlier that same day, Atlético Dallas supported the Dallas Police Department’s Unidos program at the Cotton Bowl Stadium, contributing to a youth soccer clinic focused on building trust, mentorship, and connection between law enforcement and the Hispanic community through sport.
Nearly 200 young players participated in the free clinic. Atlético Dallas donated 200 soccer balls and provided giveaways for every participant, ensuring each child left with both a tangible reminder of the day and a deeper connection to the game.
“Access is everything,” said Matt Valentine, Founder & Chairman of Atlético Dallas. “When you remove barriers and create opportunities for kids to play, you’re not just developing athletes. You are building confidence, relationships, and a lifelong love for the game.”
The effort reflects Atlético Dallas’ broader commitment to youth development across North Texas, including its $75,000 investment in Garland ISD soccer programs and a $100,000 commitment supporting Dallas Parks & Recreation initiatives. These efforts are designed to reach thousands of young players each year.

Building Toward Something Bigger
These moments are not isolated. They are part of a larger vision.
As Atlético Dallas continues to prepare for its USL Championship debut in 2027, the club is actively laying the foundation for what it aims to become: a club rooted in grit, driven by heart, and built alongside its community.
Whether through meaningful moments in local schools, support for youth programming, or participation in citywide traditions, the mission remains the same: to grow the game and create lasting connections across North Texas.
And this is just the beginning.
