ACADEMY COACHES

Meet the Academy Coaches
The Atlético Dallas Academy is built on a commitment to developing elite young players in a high-performance environment — and that begins with exceptional coaching.
Our inaugural academy staff brings high-level playing experience, international football backgrounds, and a shared passion for developing the next generation of talent.
Just as importantly, they embody the character, discipline, and love for the game that Atlético Dallas strives to instill in every player who joins the academy.

Iván Cifuentes
Academy Coach
Born in Albacete, Spain, Iván Cifuentes developed through the academies of Albacete Balompié and Valencia CF, two respected professional football environments known for producing high-level talent.
Cifuentes made his professional debut at a young age with Albacete Balompié and later competed with Valencia CF’s reserve team, building more than six years of experience in elite Spanish football.
After transitioning from his playing career, Cifuentes moved into coaching and began working with La Liga Academy in New York before continuing his coaching career in Dallas.
At Atlético Dallas, he focuses on helping young players grow technically, tactically, and mentally, emphasizing confidence, discipline, and a strong understanding of the game.

Carlos Indiano
Academy Coach
Born in Madrid, Spain, Carlos Indiano developed in the prestigious Atlético de Madrid academy, one of the most respected development systems in world football.
He later captained Atlético de Madrid’s reserve team before building a professional career that included more than 300 appearances across Spanish football.
Indiano competed for several clubs including Cádiz, Alavés, Albacete, Marbella, and Burgos, participating in multiple promotion campaigns to Spain’s Second Division.
Following his playing career, Indiano transitioned into coaching and spent four years working with the youth academy at Rivas FC, where he also served as academy coordinator, overseeing player development and academy operations.
At Atlético Dallas, Indiano brings extensive playing experience, leadership, and a passion for developing young talent both on and off the field.
